Demolition

The flooring comes out first. Often in older homes the flooring is removed to reveal colored concrete floors, common to houses built in the 50's or wood floors in homes older than that. Sometimes concrete and wood floors can be refurbished beautifully. In this home the den only was covered in parque wood flooring that leaves the concrete too compromised to refurbish. Next the appliances come out and if they're in good enough shape will be donated to local charities.
